Individual Efforts Drive Increased Membership Numbers

July 21, 2020

KLA membership numbers are on the rise. As of June 30, your association had a total of 5,718 members. The Each One Reach One challenge KLA President Harry Moser issued early this year has been met by 50 members who have recruited a total of 118 new members. Those 50 recruiters represent 37 counties. One Traeger grill will be given away for every 50 members who meet the challenge, plus all new members will be entered in a separate drawing for a YETI cooler. Prizes will be awarded at the 2020 KLA Convention in December.

Leading the annual Top Hand competition, sponsored exclusively by John Deere, is the Cherokee County KLA Committee with 21 new members. Moser is in second place with 15 recruits, followed by Neal Haverkamp of Bern and Dustin Wootten from McLouth with seven each, and Joe Eilert of Jewell with six. Every recruiter receives a folding pocket utility knife and those signing up three also get an insulated KLA tumbler. Those reaching the five-member mark get a $50 Cabela’s/Bass Pro Shops gift card. Every KLA member has been challenged to get one new member this year.
