CattleFax Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Randy Blach will take the stage once again at this year’s KLA Convention & Expo, November 18-20 in Manhattan. Friday morning during the Membership Breakfast, sponsored by the Farm Credit Associations of Kansas, Smithfield and U.S. Premium Beef, Blach will assess where the industry stands regarding herd expansion and what that will mean for cattle and beef prices in 2027. His market outlook will factor in current cowherd numbers, input costs, competing proteins, and global and domestic beef demand.
Blach has more than four decades of experience in cattle market analysis and forecasting. He joined the team at CattleFax in 1981 and served as director of market analysis for 15 years before being promoted to CEO in January 2001. Blach’s presentation is sponsored by Elanco Animal Health.
