Members can bring their branding irons and support the Kansas Livestock Foundation (KLF) Scholarship Program during this year’s KLA Convention & Expo in Manhattan. The branding party, hosted by KLA President Ty Breeden, will begin Wednesday afternoon, November 18, at 2:00 and end at 6:00 that evening. The cost to participate is $250/brand, with all proceeds benefiting youth in agriculture through KLF’s scholarship fund. During the come-and-go event, donors can hot-brand a piece of wood to be displayed in the KLA office.
The KLF Scholarship Program distributed a total of $50,000 to 45 Kansas junior and senior college students for the 2026-27 academic year. Recipients will be recognized during the Cattlemen’s Banquet Wednesday evening after the branding party.
Pre-registration for this year’s KLA Convention & Expo ends October 30. Prices will increase after that date. The $250 donation to add your brand in support of KLF scholarships can be made at registration or on site. Click here for hotel, schedule and registration details.
