The Cattlemen’s Banquet Wednesday night at the annual KLA Convention & Expo will bring members together for an evening of recognition, entertainment and support for the future of Kansas agriculture. INTRUST Bank, FERA Diagnostics & Biologicals, MWI Animal Health, Flint Hills Stockyards and Tyson Fresh Meats are sponsoring the event.
The banquet will recognize longtime KLA members for their continued involvement and celebrate scholarship recipient achievements. The evening also will feature a live auction benefiting the KLA Political Action Committee, Kansas Livestock Foundation and Ranchland Trust of Kansas.
This year’s entertainment will be Tim the Dairy Farmer, a Florida dairyman and stand-up comedian who draws on his experiences in agriculture and everyday rural life for his comedy. Performing across North America at comedy clubs, county fairs, country music festivals and agricultural events, Tim brings a perspective that resonates with audiences both inside and outside the industry.
Tim continues to work on his dairy farm while pursuing comedy. He also is a regular voice on SiriusXM and is signed with Git-R-Done Records, founded by comedian Larry the Cable Guy.
Members can register online for the convention, which will be held November 18-20 in Manhattan, by clicking here. Registration also can be completed by calling (785) 273-5115. The early registration deadline is October 30. Rates will increase October 31.
