There were 168 members and allied industry partners who participated in the September 4 KLA Political Action Committee (PAC) golf tournament at Colbert Hills in Manhattan. Proceeds from the tournament will be used by KLA PAC to help elect candidates for the Kansas Legislature who support the state’s livestock industry.
Winners of the championship flight, with a score of 17 under par, were Ryan Gilliland, Clint Glaser, Adam Jimison and Evan Jones. Second place was the grouping of Scott Burkdoll, Roger Brummel, Zach Davies and Jack Rickabaugh, who also had a score of 17 under. Ties were broken on the scorecard. The team of John Farley, Joe Murphy, Ken Woods and Gage Zierlein finished third, with a score of 16 under.
Three teams shot seven under par to win the second flight. First place went to the team of Adam Ledbetter, Andrew Scott, Tyler Scott and David White. The second-place team consisted of Gavin George, Aaron Hund, Tyler Wells and Cale Wiehe. In third place were Matt Koster, Marty McGee, Bob Sato and Cayden Sato.
First place in the third flight was the team of Aaron Bain, Brody Laflen, Kevin Milch and Darren Nay, who shot three under and won the scorecard tiebreaker. The second-place team, also scoring three under, consisted of Caleb Bird, Brandon Gasperich, Drew Kemp and Tyler Wegele. Third place went to Jesse Barnes, Dennis Roddy, Tammy Roddy and Tanner Stucky, who scored two under par.
