Applications for disaster relief funds through the Kansas Livestock Foundation (KLF) are closing May 8. Producers impacted by wildfires that swept across several counties in Kansas earlier this year are eligible to apply. Questions on the form ask about grazing acres burned, fence damaged and livestock lost.
Applicants do not have to be KLA members. KLF has a proven process to equitably distribute donated funds. The application can be accessed here or by calling KLA at (785) 273-5115.
