A KLA member has reported a horse stolen from pens near their home off K-4 Highway west of Topeka in Shawnee County. The grullo-colored (grey dun) gelding is a 10-year-old registered Quarter Horse and was stolen sometime last night, December 17-18.
KLA is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the thieves. The KLA reward program only applies to members. Anyone with information on this horse should contact the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office at (785) 251-2200.
