Cattlemen’s Banquet At KLA Convention Will Feature Live Auction

A live benefit auction November 19 during the KLA Convention in Manhattan will feature bull sale credits, livestock equipment, original artwork and more. Proceeds from items sold will support the KLA Political Action Council (PAC), Ranchland Trust of Kansas (RTK) and Kansas Livestock Foundation (KLF). For those unable to attend, the auction will be broadcast on www.LiveAuctions.tv.

Producers donating bull sale credits for their 2026 sales to benefit KLA PAC include Gardiner Angus Ranch, Fink Beef Genetics, Bar S Ranch, Barrett Cattle, Benoit Angus, Dalebanks Angus, Downey Ranch, Harms Plainview Ranch, Jones Family Genetics, Judd Ranch, Kniebel Cattle Company, Lyons Ranch, Mill Brae Ranch, Mushrush Ranches, Sandhill Farms, Jones Stewart Angus Ranch/Mid Continent Farms and Sunflower Genetics. Moser Ranch has donated a Pietta 1873 Great Western II .357 mag revolver engraved with the KLA PAC logo. Tyson Fresh Meats and the Tyson cattle procurement team donated one box of Prime strip loins. Kansas Regenerative Medicine Center has donated one basic stem cell procedure or one neuropathy treatment.

Five items will be featured in the RTK auction. Photographer Bruce Hogle provided a 24” x 32” framed canvas of the Milky Way over Little Jerusalem. Kelly and Mary Lenz donated an original, framed canvas print of two cowboys near Strong City taken by Roger Lanksbury of Manhattan. The couple also donated a pair of framed, original cowboy paintings by artist Deborah Herrick of Topeka. A dinner for four with Kansas Agriculture Secretary Mike Beam, donated by Secretary Beam, also will be sold. A $300 gift certificate provided by Zeitlow Distributing Company will be up for auction as well.

Three lots have been donated to benefit KLF. HydraBed provided an across bed toolbox for auction. A Scientific Hay Conserver was donated by GoBob America’s Ranch Equipment. Additionally, Grass & Grain donated a full-page, full-color ad.
