Register Today For One Of Three In-Person BQA Trainings

The Kansas Beef Council and K-State Research and Extension are hosting three Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) trainings in September and October. Dates and locations are September 30, Carrico Implement, Ellsworth (RSVP by September 23); October 22, Holton Livestock Exchange (RSVP by October 8); and October 28, Franklin County Commission Chambers, Ottawa (RSVP by October 14).

During the trainings, K-State extension beef veterinarian A.J. Tarpoff will cover cattle care, planning for extreme weather, proper low-stress cattle handling techniques and other matters critical to cattle production.

Each event will begin with a complimentary dinner at 6:00 p.m., followed by the training at 6:30 p.m. The trainings are free to attend, but space is limited. To RSVP, call (785) 273-5225.
