August 26, 2025

Two students have received $1,000 Kansas CattleWomen (KCW) Scholarships through the Kansas Livestock Foundation (KLF). Addison Green Russell of Downs is the daughter of Stephen and Samantha Russell. She will be a freshman at Kansas State University this fall, studying global food systems leadership and public health. Haylee Lanham from Kincaid is the daughter of Scot Lanham. She will be a freshman at Fort Scott Community College studying agribusiness.

These scholarships are made possible through individual donations and proceeds received from a live auction item sold during the annual KLA Convention. To be eligible, applicants must have graduated from a Kansas high school, be attending an in-state community or senior college and be pursuing a degree in dietetics, food safety, agriculture or a related field.
