A KLA member has reported intentional damage to property in two locations in Morris County. Fencing was cut in more than 120 places on a pasture located at the intersection of 2400 Road and F Avenue sometime between 8:00 p.m. on May 10 and 8:00 a.m. on May 11. As a result, cattle got out of the pasture. Fencing also was cut multiple times at the intersection of Kansas Highway 149 and L Avenue.
KLA is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those who committed the damage. The reward program only applies when the producer is a KLA member. Anyone with information should contact the Morris County Sheriff's Office at (620) 767-6310.
