K-State To Offer Hands-On Clinics During Topeka Farm Show

Kansas State University will hold seven hands-on educational clinics during the Topeka Farm Show, January 7-9. The clinics will cover how to perform body condition scoring and take forage samples, both of which are used to make feeding decisions for the cowherd. Live cattle from K-State will be used during the body condition scoring demonstrations to allow participants to apply their knowledge and skills.  

The sessions will be held January 7 at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.; January 8 at 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.; and January 9 at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Registration is not required and there is no cost to attend. For more information, click here.
