Last week, USDA unveiled a one-stop shop of federal programs that can be used by rural communities, organizations and individuals impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. The Federal Rural Resource Guide provides information on resources available to agricultural producers; rural businesses, both non-profit and for profit; cooperatives; hospitals; and individual households.
For those in agriculture, the guide provides links to information on technical and financial assistance. This includes farm loans, the Small Business Administration Paycheck Protection Program and the Farm Service Agency Microloan Program. The Federal Rural Resource Guide can be found here.
