Phillips County KLA Chair Matt Jarvis has been named KLA recruiter of the month for February. He signed up four new members at the Phillips County Livestock Association annual meeting. The 100 attendees heard from KLA staff about legislative and regulatory issues and got an update on agricultural trade from Mark Nelson with Kansas Farm Bureau. Jarvis will receive a $50 Cabela’s/Bass Pro gift card for his efforts and be entered in a grand prize drawing to be held at convention for all monthly winners.
The KLA Membership Committee recently set the requirement for recruiter of the month at three new members for an individual and five for a county committee. A winner will be named for each category whenever the criteria is met.
