Anderson County Two-Time Winner

November 7, 2019

The Anderson County KLA committee earned KLA recruiter of the month honors for October. They also won this award in August. The group will receive a $50 Cabela’s gift card for their efforts, which have given them a good lead in the 2019 KLA Top Hand Contest. They have enrolled a total of 18 new members. Andy Larson of Green and Rusty Wiggs from Topeka share second place with eight recruits each. The contest, sponsored exclusively by John Deere, will end December 5, at the KLA Convention.

A new twist to membership recruitment was added this fall. If the association gets 125 new members from August 1 to December 5, all the new members will be entered in a drawing for a Traeger 20 pellet grill. In addition, recruiters will get one chance for each new member they sign up in a drawing for a second grill. So, make your list and invite your friends, neighbors and business acquaintances to join KLA as it celebrates 125 years of service to the livestock industry of Kansas. Contact the KLA office for brochures, applications and a list of prospective members in your area.
