KLA To Receive Impact Award During K-State Family & Friends Reunion

September 18, 2019

One of the highlights of the October 4 Kansas State University Animal Sciences & Industry (AS&I) Family & Friends Reunion will be the presentation of the Don L. Good Impact Award to KLA. Presented by the K-State Livestock and Meat Industry Council, the award is named in honor of the long-time AS&I department head and recognizes an individual or organization with a positive impact on the livestock and meat industry. KLA volunteer leaders will accept the award on behalf of the membership.

Dinner and live entertainment will lead off the reunion at 5:30 p.m. In addition to appearances by the Too Many Degrees Band, featuring AS&I Professor David Grieger, and the K-State Marching Band, there will be a Junior Wildcat Barnyard for the kids.

The event welcomes animal science alumni and friends to campus to reunite with friends, faculty, staff and students. Pre-registration is due September 20. Registration and schedule information is available here.
