KLA Offering Reward In Osage County Stolen CAttle Case

August 3, 2018

KLA member Doug Huston has reported two purebred Angus cows stolen from a pasture three miles east of Overbrook. Huston said the fall-bred cows were stolen either July 26 or early July 27. The cows weigh about 1,500 lbs. and have blue identification tags in the right ear with H24 and H34. Red American Angus Association tags in the left ear are numbered 1219 and 1227.

Because Huston is a member, KLA is offering a reward up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in this crime. Anyone with information on the cows or the thieves should call Huston at (816) 223-1652 or the Osage County Sheriff’s Office at (785) 828-3121.
