A $1.37 million dividend has been declared for members of the KLA self-insured workers’ compensation program. This brings total dividends issued by the program to more than $19.08 million.
The dividend amount each member receives is based on individual safety records. Dairies, feedyards and swine operations with good safety records will receive dividends totaling more than 50% of their annual premium.
“These dividends are a byproduct of KLA members making significant efforts to prevent accidents and save lives, while cultivating a stronger safety culture,” said Lee Borck, chairman of the board of trustees.
Dividend checks will be available at the KLA Convention, November 29 to December 1 in Wichita.
