GoBob, Hampel Oil Scholarships Awarded

May 23, 2023

Saul Vargas Rojas of Goodland has been awarded the GoBob Pipe and Steel Cattlemen’s $1,000 Scholarship through the Kansas Livestock Foundation (KLF). Vargas Rojas will be a sophomore at Northwest Kansas Technical College and is the son of Manuel Vargas and Ofelia Rojas. Funding for this scholarship was generated through proceeds from the auction of a GoBob hay feeder at KLA Convention. GoBob is a distributor of farm and ranch supplies, such as steel pipe and gates, corral and fencing materials and heavy-duty equipment.

Two students were awarded Hampel Oil/Mobil Delvac $1,000 Scholarships through KLF. Courtney Clinesmith from Cimarron will be a junior at Kansas State University. She is the daughter of Bill and Stephanie Clinesmith. Jarek Meyer of Athol will be a senior at K-State and is the son of Jeffrey and Dawn Meyer. These scholarships were made possible by a donation to KLF by Hampel Oil, a family-operated business with six locations in Kansas. 
