Conservation districts across the state have scheduled their local working group meetings to be held now through early March. Districts are joining together to host one meeting in each Natural Resources Conservation Service management unit. KLA members are encouraged to participate and provide input and recommendations on natural resource concerns in their communities.
The Kansas Association of Conservation Districts (KACD) again will be assisting districts with facilitating these meetings. Those interested in attending a meeting can find the schedule and location for each on the KACD website at https://kacdnet.org. A virtual option also is being offered for those who cannot attend their local meeting in person. A Zoom link to access the meeting is located beside each date listed on the master schedule.
For questions, contact KACD Executive Director Dan Meyerhoff at (785) 650-1330.
