Annual Benefit Auctions Take Online Live Format

With the 2020 KLA Convention moved to a virtual format, the fundraiser auctions benefitting the KLA Political Action Committee (PAC), Kansas Livestock Foundation (KLF) and Ranchland Trust of Kansas (RTK) were postponed. The auctions now have been scheduled for the evening of February 16 and will be hosted live online by LiveAuctions.tv. Start time will be announced closer to the event.  

Seedstock producers donating bull sale credits to benefit  KLA PAC 500 are Gardiner Angus Ranch, Fink Beef Genetics, Bar S Ranch, Dalebanks Angus, Downey Ranch, Harms Plainview Ranch, Judd Ranch, Kniebel Cattle Company, Lyons Angus Ranch, Sandhill Farms, Benoit Angus, Hanel’s Black Simmentals, Jensen Brothers, Jones Stewart Angus Ranch/Mid Continent Farms and Mushrush Red Angus. Additional items to be auctioned for KLA PAC include an engraved Tristar Setter 12 gauge over-under shotgun donated by Moser Ranch, four Kansas State University east-side club seat tickets to a Big 12 conference game donated by Jerry Kuckelman and a pair of customized Rios of Mercedes boots donated by Nigro’s Western Store and J&N Ranch. 

Three lots will be sold to help fund KLF programs. HydraBed has donated an Across Bed Toolbox. A Hay Conserver bale feeder was provided by GoBob Pipe & Steel and Andy Larson has donated a belt buckle by BA Silver. 

Four items will be featured in the RTK portion of the online auction. Photographer Bruce Hogle has donated a portrait image of a saddle on a 20” x 30” canvas. Other items to be auctioned off are a $250 gift certificate to Zeitlow Distributing, a one-night stay at any Kansas state park cabin donated by Kansas Wildlife, Parks & Tourism and a wildflower tour and fishing trip in Elk County donated by Bill Eastman.
