Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner. (BIWFD) has partnered with the tech firm Chicory to utilize their digital tools that power a “Get Ingredients” button on the recipe page. The button will bring up the local stores available to the person viewing the site and allow them to shop from home for ingredients needed for the recipe. The top recipe viewed and shopped for thus far on the BIWFD site has been “Classic Beef Meatloaf.”
In addition to making it even easier to enjoy beef, this new tool will help support retail partners and overall beef sales. In fact, since the function was launched a few weeks ago, more than 300 orders per week have been sent to online grocery baskets. This is expected to increase as promotion of the function continues.
