Cherokee County Qualifies For Seat On Chairmen’s Circle

April 8, 2020

Cherokee County has reached qualification to hold a seat on the KLA Chairmen’s Circle. Since his election as county chair in December, Joe Mooney of Columbus and his committee have been visiting with neighbors about the benefits and services KLA offers its members and hosted a county meeting. These efforts have resulted in an increase in membership from 17 to 38 this year.

In order to qualify for a seat, a county must have 35 members or a total of $5,000 in dues revenue. Cherokee is the second county to qualify this spring, bringing the total number of counties represented on the chairmen’s circle to 78.
