K-State Offering Ranch Management Series

Kansas State University will be hosting winter ranch management seminars across the state throughout February. Topics to be discussed are environmental factors affecting conception rates and the impact forage quality and availability have on beef cow nutrition during late gestation and pre-breeding.

Meeting dates and locations include February 19 - Hodgeman County 4-H Building, Jetmore; February 19 - Township Hall, Rush Center; and February 26 - McPherson County Extension Office, McPherson. Each meeting will feature a town hall-style question-and-answer session allowing producers to interact with extension specialists.
